Restaurant owner gets even with entitled customers who are impolite to new hire: 'We don't want customers like that anyway'

The best bosses are the ones who have their employees' backs, no matter what. They trust their employees' judgement, respect their actions, and when customers get snippy and out of hand, the manager is there to explain to the customer exactly why they can't treat staff members so impolitely. 

This type of manager is rare to find. Many managers automatically side with the customers. If they think the customer is always right, they'll bend over backwards to give that diner a good experience. What the saying actually means is that customers are right in matters of taste. That means if a customer asks for a soda with a carrot and mustard inside, well, you should give that disgusting drink to them. They're paying you money, so they're correct if they want to pay for something you disagree with. It doesn't mean that the customer has the right to be impolite or harsh towards waitstaffers, but the saying gets twisted around constantly. 

Next, have a look at some people who are definitely having a worse day than you, like one person who witnessed as "someone bumped into this guy who was holding like 15 milkshakes."

    And what would you even do with the receipt? You're gonna crumple it up and throw it away, let's be honest, stop acting like you want to put it in some high security safe forever.
